The Slide VR experience took users on a multi-sensory ride through an imaginary flume that protrudes from the Shard: Europe’s tallest building.
As Director of Photography it was my job to capture the giant gigapixel sky box that would house the Unity Real-time game environment. This was done using a robotic capture head that was craned outside of each fracture of the building. Each capture was then combined in image stitching software before being retouched and graded.
